Specializing in Anxiety Treatment, Depression and Trauma

Anxiety

Quiet the Storm Inside…
Anxiety can feel like a constant stream of worry that never lets up. It's that nagging voice in your head that keeps you up at night, making mountains out of molehills. Common signs include excessive worry, restlessness, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating. If you find that anxiety is interfering with your daily life, making it hard to function or enjoy activities, it’s time to seek help. At House of Therapy, we help you manage and reduce anxiety with evidence-based techniques. Whether it's social anxiety, generalized anxiety, or panic attacks, we provide a safe space to explore your feelings, identify triggers, and develop practical coping strategies. Together, we’ll work on calming those racing thoughts and finding your inner peace.

Depression

Depression can feel like a heavy fog that’s hard to shake off. It’s more than just feeling sad; it can affect your whole life, from your sleep to your energy levels. At times, one may go one living about their daily life, but deep down, there could be a n intense disconnect. Common signs include persistent sadness, loss of interest in activities, changes in appetite, and feelings of hopelessness. If these symptoms persist for more than two weeks and impact your daily functioning, it’s time to seek help. Our therapeutic approach comprises Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and others that help to focus on understanding the root causes of your depression and finding ways to lift that fog. Through compassionate counseling and evidence-based treatments, we help you rediscover joy, motivation, and a sense of purpose.

Trauma

Trauma isn’t just about the big, obvious events; it can also stem from more subtle, ongoing situations. It’s like carrying an invisible backpack full of heavy rocks. Symptoms of trauma may include flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety, and uncontrollable thoughts about the event. If you’re experiencing these symptoms, feeling constantly on edge, or avoiding situations that remind you of the trauma, it’s crucial to seek help.
We offer a compassionate approach to help you unpack and process these experiences. Using therapies like EMDR and Narrative Therapy, we support you in moving through your pain and towards healing. Our goal is to help you reclaim your life and rebuild a sense of safety and trust in the world.
